Communication between Queens
Queens yet to hatch, virgin and mated queens have several means of communication. Here are some videoclips of different sounds made by queens. Piping is used ito descibe all noises a queen may make. The sounds are in G sharp or A flat.

On the right is a video of a virgin queen walking round trying to establish if there are any more viable virgin queens, either hatched or still in a cell. This is the tooting sound.
In this video we can hear a virgin queen tooting and an unhatched queen responding with quacking.
