Communication between Queens
Queens yet to hatch, virgin and mated queens have several means of communication. Here are some videoclips of different sounds made by queens. Piping is used ito descibe all noises a queen may make. The sounds are in G sharp or A flat.

In this video we can hear a virgin queen tooting and an unhatched queen responding with quacking.
